Pilates Story.

I really liked the wide shot where it showed all of the guys doing pilates. I also liked how there was a shot of the funny guy. That made the story more interesting.
My A-Roll and B-Roll are inserted separate.

A-ROLL:
It’s only march, but spring seems to be approaching fast, along with spring comes prom.

“I have no idea, I don’t know who I’m gonna take at all. I haven’t even thought about it.” – Santo Le

As a junior at here at Eastview, prom isn’t really a big deal to Santo. But for many seniors, it can be a big deal.

“Prom is more of a senior deal. It’s way more special senior year”. – Santo Le

Prom is one of the biggest events of the school year and it’s one of the last events seniors take place in as high school students. Although it’s a little spendy, some would say it’s worth the money.

“Last year I just went with a friend and I still spent a lot, this year I’m going with my boyfriend so I’ll probably spend even more.” - Ashley Murtha

It may seem like a lot of money at the moment, but the memories can last a lifetime. Especially since it’s held at a beautiful venue downtown where also, food will be served. So if you were planning on going out to eat, the restaurant expenses are cut out. But if it’s still too much, the staff in the student services can do their best to reduce the $70 tickets to $30.

“I’m only a sophomore but I know I’m going next year and my senior year”. –Aylias Bird

Prom is one of the most highly anticipated events of a student’s high school career. Date or not, everyone should attend, even if it’s just with a group of friends, even if you feel it’s too expensive, the staff here will try their best to work with you on the pricing because those memories will last a lifetime.

1st answer: Probably, yeah.

2nd question: Do you know who you're going to ask?

2nd answer: Yeah, my girlfriend Meg. She goes to Apple Valley.

3rd question: Are you excited for prom?
3rd answer: Not really... I guess.

Susan Smith

She murdered her 3 sons. She let them drown and then blamed it on a "black guy". That is so sad. Like what is the reason for killing your own sons? Your own flesh and blood! No child is bad enough, no child deserves to be killed. Some people shouldn't be allowed to have kids.

More Minnesotans are avoiding second-hand smoke

The number of Minnesotans exposed to second hand smoke dropped to a record low. Surveys say that since the smoking ban in 2007, more people prohibit smoking in their homes. I think that's a great thing! I'm happy that they banned smoking indoors in 2007, even though you could only smoke at bars in restaurants, you could still smell the smoke, and who wants to smell that while they're eating? It's a horrible smell to have on your clothes too. I don't get why people smoke anyways, it causes all types of problems... it's really pointless? What makes a person even want to try it? Why would someone found a company that sells a product that is hazardous to human beings? Is that what we've come to? putting our fellow man in danger to make money? It's sad...

1. Unsualness: News is the different, the unusual, the out of the ordinary.

  • Example: Church roof collapses.
2. Significance: Important events, ones that affect many people, are news.

3. Timeliness: Old news isn't news, it's history.

  • Example: Black history month in Febuary.

Reporters Attacked .

Journalists are being attacked in Egypt . The purpose is to "pull cover over what's happening and create fear in other reporters". I think that it's a bad way to hide what's going on because if you hurt a reporter, don't you think they'd tell someone why they were hurt? or maybe they think that since they were hurt, they won't talk about it again out of fear, or they'd scare any other reporter that they tell or hears about it.

Egypt.

I think things in Egypt are really getting out of hand. It's sad to see other human beings to this to each other. Now They are attacking the journalists in Cairo. They're fighting for what they believe in but people are killing each other to prove a point. I think they're trying to get their point across to the rest of the world. They wanna shouw us (The U.S.) that they're not gonna stop protesting until this guy is out of office, as soon as possible. even though he won't be running for another term, the people of Egypt have had enough of his so called "Democracy".
